Open positions
Sewing Club Coordinator-Denver, CO - Volunteer
We are looking for a servant leader who is passionate about sewing and helping get reusable cloth pads to girls all over Africa!
The duties of this role include (and are not limited to):
-Connecting Sew Mukwano (SM) with local hobby companies (sewing shops, craft stores, etc) and acting as a liaison between the organization and the company.
-Planning, facilitating and leading the SM sewing club held at local locations (sewing shop, coffee shops, library, etc).
-Advertising, growing and recruiting members for the SM sewing club.
-Managing pad count and working to meet pad requests for kits that will be taken on upcoming trips.
-Presenting to groups about SM as needed.
-Have a working knowledge of how to sew, and know how to sew the SM pads and be able to teach how to sew them when needed.

*All candidates should have their own operating sewing machine and know how to use it.

Social Media Intern - Any location- Volunteer
We are looking for a servant leader who is passionate about telling Sew Mukwano's story on social media platforms!
The duties of this role include (and are not limited to):
-Creating and posting content (stories, posts, photos, Canva posts, etc) for all social media platforms
-Having an excellent working knowledge of how to operate all current social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Wix Blog, Mailchimp, etc)
-Writing engaging captions, posts, blogs etc that explain our content to followers/viewers that provide value.
-Regular scheduled posts that are consistent with the Sew Mukwano brand
-Engage with followers as needed and keeping with culture and care
-Actively working to grow SM following on all platforms that will show tangibly in number of follows
